64 bits operating systems compatibility

The compatibility of the following programs was verified with Windows XP¹ professional 64 bits (SP2), Windows 7¹ professional 64 bits (SP1), Windows 10¹ professional 64 bits, Windows 11¹ home edition.

Program	64 bits compatible	Comments
RichView	Partially	Generated programs with embedded documents work fine (the documents are displayed properly); embedding tools do not: execute them in a virtual machine (for instance running a 32 bits version of Windows XP).
WTD	YES	The 16 bits installer program does not work in x64. An alternative installation program which does is available here.
Instruments Builder 4	YES	The 16 bits installer program does not work in x64. An alternative "installation" package (zipped application folder with local copies of normally shared runtime libraries) is available here.
FaFdB	YES	The 16 bits installer program does not work in x64. An alternative "installation" package (zipped application folder with local copies of normally shared runtime libraries) is available here.
PA-MJPEG	YES	Use the pamjpegX64.inf file instead of pamjpeg.inf. The codec itself remains a 32 bits DLL.
FdED	NO	Must be rebuilt with a 64 bits compiler.
